At ClimateCare HVAC Services, responsible disposal of old equipment isn’t an afterthought; it’s a core part of every project we complete. When we remove your existing HVAC system, we don’t simply haul it away. We recycle it properly, recovering valuable metals and ensuring refrigerants are safely reclaimed in compliance with EPA regulations.
The proceeds from that recycling go to where they matter: back into the communities we serve. Partnering with organizations that reflect our values is one way we try to make every installation mean a little more.
We donate to organizations like Fello, a Maryland-based nonprofit that supports people with disabilities, providing housing, services, and community inclusion programs, and the Severn River Association, an independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the Chesapeake Bay.
We carefully remove outdated HVAC equipment from homes, businesses, and job sites—keeping valuable materials out of landfills.
Our team recovers recyclable materials including copper, aluminum, steel, motors, and wiring for responsible processing.
Recovered materials are recycled through certified facilities, conserving resources and reducing environmental impact.
ClimateCare donates 25% of the proceeds generated through the program to local nonprofit organizations, turning old HVAC systems into meaningful support for our communities.
At ClimateCare, we remove hundreds of heating and cooling systems every year. Rather than viewing those systems as waste, we saw an opportunity to make a greater impact.
By responsibly recycling old HVAC equipment and donating 25% of the proceeds to local charitable organizations, we’re able to reduce landfill waste while supporting causes that strengthen the communities where we live and work.
It’s another way we strive to leave every home, every business, and every community a little better than we found it.
For 65 years, Fello’s mission has remained steadfast: to champion inclusion, opportunity, and community for people with disabilities. What began in 1961 with families advocating for a better future has grown into a dynamic organization built on advocacy, support, housing, and belonging.
Today, Fello continues to innovate and build inclusive communities where people can live the lives they choose, with purpose, dignity, and connection.
ClimateCare is proud to support Fello.
